My name is Bren, and I purchased a Rat Terrier Dog. His name is Hunter-Bear. We have owned him for about 8 months, and he is a little over a year-old. Hunter is MY VERY FIRST DOG or really been around for a long period of time. Overall, Hunter is not a "bad" dog, but just needs to be trained. Many of my friends have tried to "train" him, and they have come to the conclusion that he is "dumb." I personally DO NOT believe that Hunter is "dumb" or unattainable. SO, I have decided to hire a professional home trainer to assist me in training Hunter.
We are going through Wonder Dog Academy, Las Vegas. They are a licenced business and the cost is reasonable for the services. There phone number is 702-480-8988. I believe I will be receiving a packet of training information when they come, but (sorry) will be unable to post it due to copyright laws.
This blog is to give you an inside view of how I (first time dog owner) will train my dog and the challenges I may face while doing so...
